Service Description
Dynamic vinyasa ~ Build your practice, your pace, with 1-on-1 guidance ~ Empowering, humbling, grounding, revitalising. 7:00-9:30 AM with flexible start time - last entry 8:45 am. NOT a guided group class. This is "Mysore-style": the traditional 1:1 way to learn Ashtanga yoga. You practice the set sequence at the rhythm of your own breath while receiving individual assists and 1-on-1 teaching tailored to your body and memory. How it works: (1) FLEXI-TIME: Book the session. ARRIVE ANYTIME within that window. Last entrance 8:45 am. (2) SELF-PACED: Work at an intensity that matches your own breath. Stay for as long as your practice takes—whether that’s 30 minutes or 90 minutes. (3) SEQUENCE-BUILDING: You will learn the method and Primary Series bit-by-bit, adding new poses once you have understood the breath and intention for the previous one. (4) BEGINNERS VERY WELCOME: no prior knowledge required* Your first few sessions may only be 30-45 minutes as we develop your foundation. Starting this way is the most effective way to build a resilient, sustainable habit. Chanting may be included. Recommended to bring a small hand towel. Please observe the shared quiet of the room, and each person's individual space. Phones must be switched to silent and placed in the storage cubicles.
